Vita

A summary of my activities - whereever I have been - including shameless self-promotion

My hometown Dinslaken is located in the lower rhine region. It is said that peoples' syntax seems to be similar to the landscape: Wide und unstructred. After my high-school graduation at Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium, I studied Business Information Systems at the University in Partyborn Paderborn. During this time, I studied seven months abroad at the University Carlos III in Madrid.

To write my diploma thesis at Daimler, I moved to Ulm. The topic was Mixed Integer Programming for automotive production planning. Everything else is classified information. Is there a life after graduating? Apparently yes. I worked for Siemens IT Solutions and Services in Düsseldorf. The company doesn't exist anymore (Promise! Not my fault!) and has been bought by ATOS.

After a couple of years in the promised Rhineland, my path took me back to Münster in Westphalia. I worked at the ERCIS, to conduct indispensable research on digital innovation and workplace technologies. As an attractive bonus task I organized the HIS-Tagung. During my doctoral studies, I had the chance to visit twice Florida State University in Tallahassee, which is arguably the friendliest town on Earth. Go Noles!

Currently I connect digital startups and established companies at Digital Hub münsterLAND to promote the digitalization of the Münsterland. I am Co-Organizer of the MÜNSTERHACK and the startup competitions ERCIS Launch Pad and NRW Hub-Battle.
